Hello, I'm new to the forum and wondered what the experts have to say about new tank setup. It's been quite a few years since my last tank was setup so I thought I would ask which filter you would suggest as best.
Here is what I'm considering.
75 gallon
Cichlid sand as substrate (maybe crushed coral) 1-2 inches max.
Male aulonocara show tank (10-12)
Syn. petricola (3-4) Because I love syn cats
l.brichardi (4-5) I know these are from the other lake. but my wife always loved these little guys
Really do not want canister filters so was considering power filter, specifically Bio-Wheel (1 or 2) depending on size. Or Emperor 400 power filter.
If I stick with power filters is it ok to get one for that size tank, or 2 smaller filters?
Thanks, in advance.
