My Sajaica just had some babies. I wanted to know If i keep them in the tank with other large fish or do I seperate the fry and mother in a seperate tank? The other tank mates are a large severum, honduran red point, school of rainbows and parents of the fry.

I would say that it greatly depends on what you plan on doing with the fry and how large of a tank they are already in. The parents will do a great job watching their fry after a few spawnings but can get really aggressive. If you have lots of space in the tank they are all in this could work fine.

If you really want to keep lots of the fry then your best bet would be to place them in another tank. They will obviously do better if they are not in with something that is going to see them as food.

So I guess it really depends on what you want. Hope this helps and goodluck.
