Hey All,

I got this incredible beauty over a month ago, and I've have it in quarantine, Finally introduced him to the tank last week, and it's colors are really starting to come out! Only problem is... I don't know what type he is, can anyone help me out? Currently about an inch and a half long, he's about the size of a full grown gold dust molly for comparison at the moment. Just curious so I can gauge how big it will get. (Too young to sex at the moment so it's going to be an it for the time being) Named it Spike though, felt fitting. lol

It is a maleApistogramma cacatuoides triple red, as judyok noted. Could get close to 3 inches, but it is already sexually mature.

BTW, if you think a gold dust molly is full grown at this size, you are sadly mistaken. They are easily capable of reaching 3.5-4 inches with proper food and care.
