I'm going to the big city tomarrow and thinking about getting some convicts,peacocks, or bumblebees. I kinda want to try the whole breeding thing for fun. Any suggestions on how many I should get to try and get a pair, or what kind. I can alway return some when they are grown. Thanks

Rule of thumb is six juvi cichlids, let them pair off naturally then remove the rest.

Well I went south today 2 get a few cons and came back with 6 cons and 3 jewels and a 55 gal and a new heater and some filters and an assortment of water treatment chemicals and no money! =D>
