| This fish is best known for it's very attractive fry. Unfortunately, the adults are not nearly as attractive. This fish seems to be closely related to N. falcicula, and is somewhat more reclusive then other member's of the "brichardi" complex, and perhaps even more aggressive on the defense of their fry. It dines on crustaceans and insect larvae in the wild, as such,supplementing a flake would be mysis shrimp, krill, mosquito larvae and artemia (brine) shrimp. |
