I am getting a pair of N. leleupi and I have to decide whether to put them into a 30 long with a pair of X. ochragenys 'Ndole' or put them into my 120 gallon Tanganyika community tank. I have built rock-work at either end of the 30, so the leleupi can take one end of the tank for themselves. The community tank is set up the same way, albeit with much larger rock-piles. It has 16 Cyps, 15 Synodontis lucipinnis, 2 Compressiceps, 2 Julis and 5 Lamprichthys tanganicus. Any thoughts?

dont put them with the xenotilapia, lelupi will kill them. put them in the 120 gallon, they will do better in there.

leleupi are bad news for most tang cichlid comunitties, Well at least for me. I would start another tank or pass on em.

Leleupi were bad news in my 72" tank, killed the shellies (I was warned) and also the caudopunctatus (that was a surprise). They used the entire tank.
