Looks an awful lot like Neolamprologus sexfasciatus "Gold", except a bit washed out and the mouth looks wrong. One more bar than a tret, and the yellow color is specific to populations along the southern Tanzanian coast. Haven't seen any in a while, they were fairly available back in the late 70s/early 80s.

What was it labeled when you got it?

That and the body shape is far too elongate.
