I recently relocated my pair of convicts to my 75 G tank with a large Jack Dempsey. I really need some tank cleaners to help control algae growth. I am afraid anything I put in there will get torn apart and I hate investing in large Plecos, they can be expensive and I dont have much luck with them.

I know this may sound weird but as plecos grow they
Actually clean less and poop more. I would not reccomend a large one maybe you could try a bristlenose pleco
