Can someone please help me with this cichlid? I think it's a Haplochromis latifasciata, but I'm still new to Africans, and would like to be sure. I have 2. They were in a "assorted aafrican cichlid" tank when I bought them.

Yes, you are correct. Looks like a decent male with normal barring and body shape.

Thank you so much for your help! The other looks to be male as well, but I won't know for sure for a couple more months. He's still a little guy.
