Hello, all!
So about a year ago I worked at a local fish store and got really good deals on cichlids that I'd raise. The tanks contained multiple species at a time. It was in a tank with flowerhorns, texas, and red texas. Nobody knew what to ID it as so they gave it to me for $5. Anyways, its a year and a half later and its grown. I was hoping it'd be easier to ID but I'm not exactly sure what it is now. Its really aggressive but thats a trait of both texas and flowerhorns. It also originally had those black blotches down the side like flowerhorns do. But its got a bright red color in the middle of it too.If anyone could help me ID my little buddy that'd be great!
