I have siphoned the detritus to much from the Monty Carlo, pulled it up. Not the most accessible tank, being in corner with other tanks beside it. Have snails too. Store purchased plants are best over a market place.

Been meaning to put this tank in my kitchen for a while.

What i am in joying is the plants that do not need a lot of light. Sunlight for a short period.
Anubis, Java Moss and Fern, Vallisneria. Monty Carlo once established. Cryptocoryne wendtii,

After looking a while, I could not find some scissors to trim it in that confined space. .
Still looking. Although, i have been meaning to buy those small scissors with the spring.
Any opinions on the Tropica style spring scissors.

I like the small tanks that have the back wall section off from viewing area. 3 tall chambers,

Many options for media like a Canister setup.

i have big Mitts. Still can get my hand to bottom on Fluval Flex Tank in back.

Pot Scrubbers, course to finer pads. Then two bags of Biological, then pump chamber.
The flow is very strong on theses tanks. Broke the surface flow up with machining plastic coolant fittings.
Drilled a small hole in each click fitting.

It's a tank i do not have to pay attention to since the Anubis is so established.
Just feed the Beta, Ember Tetras, Amano, Otto's
