Quite often they form a pair and reject all the other fish in the tank from the colony. Then they fill the tank with their fry. So you have a while before you are overrun, but you may have some rehoming earlier on. Unless you have a very large tank.

Yes i see from some research that they will kill every other fish in the tank once they form a pair and breed. I am hoping to get several pairs from the 10 - 12 that I have ordered. Just not sure about clutch size or freq of spawning. I m coming across loads of info on N.Brichardi, but not that much on N.Pulcher.
