can anyone tell me is this normal and will they eventually stay black and orange sometimes there patterns are insane and next nothing

he is as tough as nails for now and i have not seen any problems as of yet the tank is 720 litres with lots of places to hide so i will see for now.

Until they hit maturity they will change color with mood. Actually, they do change color with mood when older just not as often...
