Good looking tank, Chris, but I'd see about adding more shells. Multies do best with at least 3-5 shells per fish. The brevis probably need a similar amount. You really can't have too many shells in the tank. Escargot shells are easily found, cheap, and work great with shellies.

You do know there's a risk of the multies and brevis interbreeding?

thnx guyz...i just went out and bought some more shells....looks really nice....but they tend to like the rock area more than the shells right now but im pretty sure they will start occuping the shells once they settle.....

lol yea some of them have been digging tunnels under the rock....i have 4 brevis and 2 multies....gonna get more multies.....unless they dunt do good together then i might get rid of the multies and do all brevis..

My multies spent the first 3 weeks in and above the rocks, well, except for 1 who immediately claimed half the tank as her own and proceeded to start spawning immediately.
