So today i was at petco and was looking at the cichlids of course and I looked down and saw one fish getting chased by all the others. When I looked closer it was a small Bolivian ram the fish chasing it were ''mixed africans'' there were also JDs in the tank too. I felt sorry for the little guy and bought him. It mad me really mad to see all the cichlids int he wrong places and being beaten up and dying the tank above them was the oscars and two of them were dead. Sorry for the long post but just wanted to share about my new little addition and complaints.

here it is. I don't know what gender it is so would love some help on that.

Great save. I would think it is too stressed and washed out to sex right now. Post additional pictures once he/she gets comfortable and colors up.

Thanks,
Matt

yeah I know I just looked at their profile on here and looked up the picture with stress spots. It was sad that mine looked like that from being kept with Africans. And I'll will definitely post some more pics when he/she is not showing the stress spots. Also thanks for the replies.

My new Bolivian is still doing good, has started moving more around the small 10g Q/T the red highlights on the pectorals and tail have begun to come out. I'll try to post some more pics when it's all colored up.

Today I went to petco again and bought 3 more Bolivians since I took my cons back to my LFS. Now since my 40g is free I've put all 4 Bolivians in. It's now fake and naturally planted. I'm pretty sure that I have 2 females and 2 males or 1 male and 3 females. I'll post some pics tonight or tomorrow.
