I most definitely plan on upgrading. I am only waiting awhile just to see how this fish thing pans out; see if its just a fad or what. I have a habit of being wishy-washy; changing my mind quite a bit. So I don’t want to go out now and purchase a big tank and become disenfranchised with fish a year from now. My birthday is on the 26th of October, so if I’m still hyped on fish I will go out and buy at the very least a 55 gallon, and I plan on stocking it as follows:

3 Male convict sickleds (Elijah and 2 of his sons)
1 Salvini sickled

And some dither/target fish of my choosing.

Are salvinis and convicts compatible? I didn’t do much research yet, but I have the entire summer.

They are Cichlids, not sickleds.

Compatibility depends on the dimensions of the aquarium you are getting. They should be fine in a tank of 55 gallons or more.

Yea I know, I have to get used to spelling it the way it's NOT sounded out. But yea, salvinis are so interesting, I can't wait!
