At the moment 14 demansoni in it and 12 red zebra juvies. Waiting on 30 more demansoni and 10 yellow labs to finish it off.

The tank is still clearing up at the minute so it is i was wondering does anyone have any suggestions for 1 other species of fish something with a touch of red maybe ?

Nice setup :thumb: I would be careful though with adding the yellow labs if im correct they can crossbreed with the red zebras.

Well if they do i wont be keeping them so i wont.demansoni is the ones i want to breed ;-)

Yea i also have red zebras and demasoni. I also want to breed demasoni had one of my female demasoni holding once but i guess since it was her first time she swallowed them.

no crossbreeding with yellow lab and red zebra here in my 50g and 125g tank...
i also have pseudotropheus saulosi and i notice no crossbreeding...

maybe in bad condition... like 1 of each in a 10g but with a good ratio i don't think this fish as a high level of crossbreeding prossibility...

i would have to agree with you i have had red zebra and yellow labs before without any croos breeding but something i can look out for ya never know stranger things have happened :)
i will have 10 of each so it should be enough and 2 males witrh 8 females i am hoping for .have 20 juvies now and going to sell some when time is right same as zebra.

I've kept Yellow Labs with Red Zebras and haven't had any cross breeding. I had a several females for each of the each species. I think if you have something similar you shouldn't have a problem.
