its been a while since i posted, so here an update on my first flowerhorn,

here he was around christmas time, about 2 inches

and here he is today around 7 inches

hes got a wicked personality, and i love him!! :lol:

may be the ugliest flowerhorn ever on this forum, but he is mine!! :lol:

one thing i must say i love about your flowerhorn is the "tear drop" on him (the bit of black under the eye) *** always had a liking for the tear drop.

the only real problems i see are he is lacking kok and body is pretty lengthy, i could say he could use more color.

but in turn, it can be difficult to find a flowerhorn with nice pearling on the lower half of the body, and yours has very nice even pearling on its lower half, so that is definitely a plus side, he appears to have a very strong trimac gene in him.

and besides all that, if you like the fish, who cares about quality, i have my low grades, i still appreciate them just as much as my high grades, its the personality that counts for me.
