It's been a while since I posted any pics here and I felt obligated due to the new kids
I added a green male to my gold female and they wasted no time. They quickly got comfortable with one another and then promptly killed my scissor tail rasboras before getting their aquatic groove on. My 2 bolivian rams survived the attacks, but they're banished to the fake foliage and deal with a bit of stress now. The good news is as the sev fry age, mom and dad get a little more tolerant of the rams' presence in the tank.
So, on with the pics
The tank with dad hiding and mom out in front
mom and one fry
babys eating flake off the substrate
fry picking algae off a fake plant
2 stressed rams looking out
There have to be over 100 of the little guys. They're about 6 weeks old so far and are doing very well considering I have done nothing to accommodate them aside from the normal husbandry I do.
