I am looking to add 7 multifasciatus to two tanks. One tank is a 29g at home with 4 adult multi's (1.25"-2") already in it. The other tank is a 15g (I think) at the school where I work. The end result is trying to decide how to add them. Should I be worried about adding smaller (sub adult) multies to my established tank? Or should I just add them to the 15g and then take them once they grow? Or should I not worry about adding the 7 to the 29g?

I think you can add them without too much worry. But, to limit aggression, add a few extra shells and rearrange the ones that are already in the tank when you add the fish.

end result? that doesn't even make sense... wow poor word choice. The end result is to bring 5 multi's into the 15g and keep 2, hopefully female, for the 29g at home.

Thanks triscuit
