here's a few helpful hints: fast large fish for two to three days prior to transport-if you can't fast them-hold them in catch bucket for 5-10 minutes prior to placing in transport bucket and give them 50% fresh water for the trip, buckets work better than bags for big fish, 2-3 litre (of water) per fish is plenty, pack females together if your packaging allows the volume and space, males do better in their own buckets, lids are required-for both jumping and calming, water temp can cool a few degrees-but try to avoid increased heating, match temp and dump once you get them home-but all transport water is for disposal, fast for another 24 hr. before first feeding.
