Hey all,

Not too long ago I bought five parachromis motaguense at aroung 1.5" intending to grow them out and end up with a pair. I now am left with one 2" male and one beastly 4.5" male. The one male outgrew the rest of the motas and ended up killing the two that I believe were females and the smallest male.

Now that my big male(big by comparison) is starting to get some really nice reds I'm getting ready to set up what will be his show tank. The only thing is that I would like a pair.

If I were to get some more motas would it be likely that he would eventually pair off, or should I abandon all hope of pairing him up and just keep him as a 'wet pet'?

Well, I'm keeping my male regardless. I'm just trying to decide whether it's worth trying to pair him again.
