Hey guys, having a bit of an issue, I (or my parents rather) have a 40g tank set up and spontaneously over the last few days a ton of things have died, water tests with:
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: <20
Its a completely cycled tank, but so far we've lost 2 Bleeding Hearts, 2 Black Phantoms, 2 Fire eels, a severum, and an angel.
Now keep in mind this is a grow out tank, fire eels were no more then 6" with the rest being less then 2", it was not a permanent home, they were growing out to reside in our 150g...
Any ideas? My only thoughts are a chemical such as soap managed to get into the filter when they cleaned it, bothers me a lot that the fire eels died...
