Hi,

Any issues in housing these three species together?

Labidochromis caeruleus
Metriaclima callainos
Pseudotropheus sp. "Elongatus Masimbwe"

I already have the first two. Still trying to decide on the third, and was originally planning on rusties, but not really sure. Would prefer to have something barred, I think.

Looks like they have re-classified that elongatus as Chindongo (no longer Pseudotropheus).

Females are drab. They are a more aggressive species, so plan on having 7 females and 1 male.

You could get a less aggressive blue barred male with saulosi...females are yellow orange.

Switch the yellow labs to white labs and you would have a nice mix.

The yellow labs are already in my first tank - just tossing up whether or not to move them with the callainos to tank number 2. I'm aiming for primarily yellow and blue in this tank, with a splash of something else. Maybe the labs, callainos and some Hongi?

Or just the callainos and a bunch of saulosi...

Argh. Too many options ;-)

Hongi are labs. Also drab females.

Nothing wrong with the elongatus...just know females are drab.
