Just go my c-360 and I was having issue's with random bubble blasts coming out of the outtake. So I took all the media trays out and reseated them, but it is still doing the same thing. Any ideas what I could try?

Are you using any media other than what was provided? Some crushed coral perhaps? Does the intake tube on each tray have a rubber "O" ring on top? The top tray (the one that goes into the motorhead, shouldn't have one.

It sounds to me like the trays aren't seating properly. I know it means taking apart the filter again, but check to see if each tray sits flat on its bottom, place each one on a table and make sure the slotted bottom isn't bowing up or tray doesn't rock. A concave or convex bottom on just one of the trays can cause a leak and create small blasts of air as the bubbles build up in it.

The only thing I am doing different is I am not using the carbon, but I put some coarse sponge (can't think of what else to call it) but it weighs nothing so I don't know how it could be that.

I really don't want to take it apart again, but if I have to I guess I will.

OK I have taken it all apart again. I made sure that all the trays had the rubber "o" rings on top. I made sure they were seated properly. But I am still getting the same issue. Does anyone have any other ideas, or should I try to take it back.
