6 itty bitty babies (1.25-1.5") have been added to the new renovated 8ft tank this evening, and already are making themselves at home. Can't wait to see how they mature!

Wow, how cool is that?!!! And my goodness, those youngn's are already showing signs of marbling!

Oh yeah.... me too! As adults, those are gonna be some very interesting Cichlids. Please keep us posted as they grow! :thumb:

Yeah just about all of the babies in the tank were already marbled, though their markings are faint like these guys at the moment. Not sure how quickly it starts, but the littlest one is only about 1.5" so they're still really young.

I certainly will keep updating as they mature.
