Hi everyone, I have a male Msobo going though his colour change but he is hiding and not eating as much as all the other fish in the tank.
He is the biggest fish in the tank, is this normal?

I have:

10x Msobo
10x Hara

Any information would be great,

Thank you.

Hi Sonny

You have a nice fish mixture

when ever I hear Hiding and not eating I think of Malawi Bloat
Often their colors will darken up when they have this as well.

This is usually caused by stress ,bad water conditions and over feeding

this is not normal behavior for a msobo going through color change. Look for possible signs of illness as mentioned by posters above

If he's eating then it's not bloat. Sounds like a victim of aggression to me. Spend some time watching the tank including after lights out.
