Today was my first trip to the zoo since I entered the hobby. These pictures aren't great, but I blame my kids, who at 2 and 6 don't share my all-encompassing interest in cichlids with me. "daddy let's go!" doesn't make for a steady hand.

For the record I was using a Canon Rebel XT with a 17-85 IS lens.

I have seen this tank a few times before, its quite big and there a lot of fish in there. I'll see it when i make it over to the zoo in early august.

Note: my profile says im in tulsa, but up in toronto for the summer.

I haven't been to the Toronto Zoo in a few years, but I am hoping to get back there this summer. The tank is massive. I can't remember how large it is though...
