I had one in an all male tank and he was one of the nastier ones....don't know about in breeding groups but him and a dominant Hongi SRT used to go at it all the time and then retreat to opposite corners of the tank for a breather...if there were females in there one would have bought the farm for sure.
All the Zebra group tend to be similar. Tough, typical Mbuna. Of course can be aggressive, and may be dominant... but hardly that difficult either.
C. afra types have a similar cool look with a smaller size.
