Hello Cichlid lovers...

I've got a 75 gallon tank that I've been trying to setup for some time now. I'm ready to plan my rock formations.

The type of rock i have are:

River rock
Slate
1 large piece of THR
Bunch of lava rock

That is what I have in my 45 gallon currently.

I'm not really feeling the red of the lava rock so I'd rather leave it out. I've got probably 14-15 river rocks of medium size.

My texas holey rock is a fairly large piece about 9"x8"x6 (aprox) ....

I also play to install UGJ.

My stock consists of Auratus, Pearl White Zebras, Mpanga and Pearlmutts.

I'm not using any filters but a corner overflow is going to a 20 gallon long sump.

Any ideas on how I can setup the terrirtories ? I want to make sure the Mpanga have an area to spawn without getting disturbed by the other species....

By looking at those pictures and aesthetically speaking, I would stick to one type of rock- the river rock or the lava rock.

As for your question, I would put more rock in there and just let it "fall" into place. -Don't try to make caves, etc....
