My all male150 gallon Hap/Peacock tank is well under way. My stock list is listed here. I am using 2 of the Marineland Led lights. Id like to put a few live plants in but have never done so and know nothing about it. My questions are. Can I do live plants with the lighting I have? What are some that are very easy and low maintenance? Where is a good place to buy live plants.? Would this be a waste of time and money because my fish would eat them? I still plan on adding 3 to 4 more fish.

Anubis sp. nana and Java Fern are probably what most cichlid keepers have success with. They're both tolerant of very low light, too. Both somewhat expensive, at least around here.

Tie them down to your rocks using fishing line to anchor them.
