Haplochromis "Lipochromis" sp."Matumbi hunter" is a critically endangered Species. Small spawns of 8-15 eggs. "Matumbi Hunter" specializes in eating the larvae of mouthbrooding cichlids.

You will note that we have indicated the genus Lipochromis as a subgenus in quotation marks until a re-evaluation of Humphrey Greenwoods classifications is completed.
