LIGHTING!!!

I really want to upgrade the lighting on my 50g show tank, the 18" 15w bulbs just aren't cutting it. I think I've decided I'm going to go with the Current Satellite 2x65w with lunar lights. If I go with this fixture, it will be the one that comes with a 10000k bulb and an Actinic bulb.
Does anyone out there have pictures of their tank with this light setup? How "blue" does it really look? Any problems with the fixture? I know all about the loud fan noise, I'll either replace the fan or just remove it/not use it at all.

Thanks in advance :D

Anyone??? Or perhaps another lighting suggestion in about the same price range? Its an all fish (no plants) tank.
Thanks!

I wouldn't remove the fan if I were you . . . I had a Current orbit fixture (still have it, it's collecting dust in my basement) and the fan died on me and I was like, "Oh well, no biggie."
Well a month later I started replacing ballasts . . . after the second one I started thinking about replacing the fan . . . after I replaced the 3rd ballast, I got a replacement fan.

You might also try looking into something like the Current Nova Extreme Freshwater fixture . . . T5's put out a lot less heat (also uses less energy vs PC) and the most T5 fixtures don't even need fans. The lamps cost about the same as PC lamps . . . :thumb:
