Comments:
Like all Lethrinops species, L. lethrinus hunts by shoveling and filtering the substrate (mud-sand mixture) for food particles (insect larvae and small crustaceans). A unique characteristic of L. lethrinus is the presence of two spotted horizontal lines on the body. Dominant males are turquoise.
