I've kept and spawned them.

They are somewhat less aggressive in defense of their territory than many other Lamps. They defended about a 12" square area for me, and were quite secretive, digging out under rocks and laying eggs there.

They have a huge mouth, and decent canines, so when they do bite something, they can inflict decent damage, and can eat fish quite large. They have been said to be able to swallow fish up to 2/3rds their length.

What would you say a minimum tank size for these would be?
Depends on how long you keep them. I picked up 4 wildcaught individuals, that were about 3" in size. It took them nearly two years for the male to reach 7", but they can reach 12".

I wouldn't keep them in a tank smaller than 75 gallons, but you should be able to safely keep them with fish they won't eat.
