This is probaly in the wrong forum but I'm searching for the best deal on an 8' tank.One thing I have learned from this forum is get the biggest tank you can from the start.A few years ago I thought that was a 4' 75 gallon but my personal belief is that cichlids require a great deal more space then most people give so I'm looking for an 8'by2'by2' tank,this is the biggest tank that I can get befor my wife decides I need mental help!I've searched the trading post and craigslist with no success but I'm inclined to buy brand new anyway.Any advice from the knowledgable membership here would be great on filtration,heating,lighting and water change systems for a tank this size.Stocking list suggestions would be nice I'm partial to the south and central american cichlids I also like more of a biotype approach but its not a religion for me.I just moved into a new house and putting this project together is a few months away still. I have started to put some money aside for the project.So far I'm thinking sand,driftwood,roundrock,oscars,severums,uaru silver dollars something along these lines.I'm open to all ideas.
