Hello!
I'm brand new because I've NEVER had a problem with my oscar but he decided to ram his head on something in the tank (still not sure what he found that was that sharp) and took a significant chunk of the top of his head off. It has a giant flap of flesh and I'm not sure how it's going to heal like that. Any experience on this? Any suggestions? I immediately started treating him with antibacterial so he doesn't get an infection. I've never had an oscar get infected in my 17 years of keeping them, but this was preventative as the wound is deep.
