I got lots of fry that just started swimming around the tank without their sacs.. what should i do? are the parents good parents in terms of taking care of them till they mature? or should i definitely seperate them because there will be a problem once they want to breed again? let me know if i have to separate or keep together if you have had experience with them.. thanks in advance

Typically in a species only tank, they will tolerate the fry until the next spawn, then eliminate the older fry. There have been exceptions to this, so if it were me, I'd leave them with the parents and see what happens. You know that they are going to spawn again and again anyway..

I currently have 3 batches of Ornatipinnis fry growing out ATM. The parents are not in a species tank, but a display tank with other fish. In my experience they make great parents for the short term, but once the fry have been swimming for about 5 days they are eliminated and by the parents no less. The only way I've been able to save the fry is to separate them.
