Hi all. I've had a species only tank set up for about 3 months with labidochromis Hongi Swedens. I've had fry already and have 3 females in holding. My question is it seems I have about 4 males rest females. Would I need to remove any males being it's just for breeding? I'd rather not as these type of Hongis are rare here in uk and also cost me a lot. Tank is 4 feet by 1 foot x 2 foot. Thanks 240 litre uk

If they are not fighting among themselves or harming the females, no reason to remove them. I would keep an eye on them though because they have a rep as an aggressive species so things can change as fish mature.
