I am by no means an expert but i have a pair of kribs that have bred for me in my community tank a few times.
Typically you will see them prepare a cave for up to a few weeks, digging it out and making it how they like it. Then the female will dissapear for up to a few weeks, hiding in the cave/protecting her eggs. The male guards the cave from any other fish. After a few weeks the female will bring the fry out of the cave for feeding.
They are a great fish to watch looking after their fry. Unfortunately an outbreak of whitespot in that tank killed off my fry, but no doubt they will be at it again and give me another go at raising these awesome fish.
