I have a male kenyi and a female that breed constantly. I have another blue kenyi that has been with them since I purchased them at the pet store. The blue one is constatnly being chased and does not have a 'life' Is the dominate male causing the blue one to not turn yellow? In other words, is that blue one actually another male? If I add a few more kenyi to the tank and they are male too, will they end up hiding all the time like the one I have now, and not turn yellow?

The other blue one could be a female or a sub-dominant male.

How big are these fish and what size tank are they in? M. lombardoi are usually best in large groups of five or more females and a single male.
