i bought two cichlids today and the storei bought them from didnt sound like hey knew much but the fish looked healthy. he told me they were kandango? iv looked this up but i cant find a picture that looks like my little guys...they are two different fish for sure and need help figuring out what my tank needs for sure... i cant figure out how to post pictureor i would... new to the forum and the cichlid world hopefully everyone here is nice and helpfull... any info aanyone will give will be very much appriciated...

well it is still young but it has orange tipped fins and some blue in the body... it looks simaler butnot identical. i hav another he said was the same but it looks completly different the mouth is higher on the head and has some vertical stripes all the way down. that one i can find nothing that looks anything close?

Get a pic up if you want guesses that makes sence.
Copadichromis borleyi (Kadango) is a common fish in LFSs be they bred far too much from a small stock and only a shadow of the wild type.

Take a look at the other photos in that link. I've see the borleyi (spelling?) called a kadango.
