I purchased a juvenile Gold Saum Green Terror yesterday about 1 1/2"- 2" long. The color on him or her is a little drab. Is this common with juvenile terror's? Do they get more colorful as they mature? Thanks

Usually they are only fed flakes or cichlid pellets. A balanced diet will do wonders. Feeding blood worms 3-4 times a week, and peas (thaw out some frozen peas in warm water, remove the skins by squishing them, mash them between your fingers into the water) 1-2 times a week. I usually do pellets for breakfast and peas or bloodworms, or brine shrimp for dinner. When they get bigger, 3-4in, krill and guppies, with some peas from time to time
