i was moving some things around in my tank and when i pulled an ornament out i found a lot of eggs on the inside of it..i immediately put it back in the water in the same spot it was....anything i should be doing??? the are convict eggs!!!

You should be praising convicts to your friends so that when the fry are big enough you have people eager to take them. Other than that just leave the eggs, the parents will get a chance to practice raising them. Are there any other fish in the tank besides parents and eggs?

yeah i have other convicts some jewels and 2 gold severums i am not too concerned if they all survive but my kids would like 2 see the babies

so i added a divider in my tank and put the momma and pops in with the ornament they laid eggs on...hopefully this gives them a better chance

3-4 days, then another 3-4 for wrigglers to become free swimming

That'll give the jewels and other cons a chance... the parents wouldn't have an issue defending the fry.
