I have a 25 G tank (same footprint as a 20h) and was going to get a couple JD's about 1 1/4" long and wonderinfg about how long could I keep them untill transferering them to a bigger tank. I was thinking till they get 3 to 3 1/2 inches I was thinking 4 or 5 months or longer if possible. Thanks for any idea on a timeframe.

i've had JD's since august I think and they are already pushing 4-5 inches. when i bought them they were an inch and under. So not very long.
