Hi all. I have a female Demasoni holding on her own and has been for about 3 weeks now. Initially I pulled her out and thought she looked thin but assumed she became pregnant right after I put her back in my colony, so not feed too much. I've been observing her for a while now and my concerns are her gills are very swollen and bright red, around her mouth seems bright red also. She goes to the top of the water and looks as if she is gazing for air, and constantly chewing which is right if she is holding. She is t behaving as normal as my demos usually just hide until they spit, she is always out but looking in a bad way. Now and then she hits the floor with her side and generally looks in very bad shape. So very very thin. Please advise.

Not sure aboout the redness but she does not look all that skinny to me. Why not strip her and see if she improves, or treat her when you can pinpoint the diagnosis.
