I got a new tank but haven't got the light in that I ordered. So is having a light essential for a good cycle? I started adding NH3 5 days ago and have the levels up to about 4 ppm but haven't gotten the NO2 levels to spike. I should get my light in soon so hopefully it will help. BTW the tank does get some sun light so if anything i was thinking that would surfice the light problem.
