Investigating Malawi Stocking List

My tank is not yet cycled, so I am starting to think about putting together a stocking list. I think I came up with a list of compatible cichlids based on genus according to my research, and of course ones I like. But I am not sure on the specifics. I tried to follow the rule of staying away from similar colors (but I don't know how close you can get).

I started with this list of mixed malawi:
Labidochromis
Labeotropheus
Pseudotropheus
Metriaclima
Petrotilapia
Iodotropheus
Melanochromis
Protomelas
Sciaenochromis
Nimbochromis

I added the three Haps as possibilities because I am thinking of going all male eventually, and I wanted a good variety of colors and sizes.

So this is a list I created by pretend shopping at BluegrassCichlid website. Thoughts and opinions? If I was going to order today what would be the suggested quantity of each? In my ignorance I would probably go with 4-5 of each assuming they were sub-adult?

And, I would love to have either a Nimbochromis Livingstoni or Nimbochromis Venustus because of their size, color, and predatory habits, but I have a feeling keeping them with smaller mbuna is not the greatest idea? Any thoughts?
