Received this fish from someone who can no longer care for it. I was told its a variety of Peacock but I don't believe it. It is quite aggressive in the Cichlid Only tank. Help!

Like many Flowerhorns, yours has obvious Trimac ancestry.

Yes, this so called "Flowerhorn" will get quite large and be very aggressive... so you may want to re-foist this hybrid on someone else soon.

Wow. I would have never considered that species in my lineup of guessing what it was. Thanks so much for your help. I am actually fairly familiar with that species from watching DIY fishkeeper on YouTube. Highly recommend that channel if you don't follow it. Got to love frank the flowerhorn.
