Can anyone help me identify what specific African Cichlid fry these are? And will they show coloration or stay like this? I think they
are hybrids but I’m not sure.

Any insight is always appreciated

Impossible with fishes this small.

Trying to guess what they are at this size.

At some point they will start to color up and "maybe" a positive ID can be made. I say maybe because they could well be a hybrid.

Oh wow, those look like - baby Cichlids!
And yeah, I know.
-
But it IS kind of amazing that at that first, free-swimming fry stage of life - ALL Baby Cichlids look a lot alike (size differences excepted). New World, Old World - African or Asian. All of those little tiny, stripey guys just look like - baby Cichlids!

And no worries.... as they get a bit larger, those adult traits will inevitably emerge and species identification of those Cichlids will be possible.
